Registration for the 32nd National Japan Bowl is now open!
The National Japan Bowl is America’s premier Japanese-language competition, now in its 32nd year. Each spring the Japan-America Society of Washington DC welcomes 200 of the country’s top high school Japanese language students to the nation’s capital for the competition.
Early bird registration for the 32nd National Japan Bowl will start on October 31st and last until December 15th.
In order to receive the discount for Early Bird registration, the Teacher or Lead Chaperone must submit their Registration form before the Early Bird Deadline to receive 100% off one chaperone fee. To receive the discount, please use code JBEB2024 at checkout.

Monday November 27, from 6:30PM – 8:00PM, on ZOOM
This session will focus on covering the basic information of the National Japan Bowl, including registration.

National Japan Bowl Networking Session
Wednesday December 6, from 8:00PM – 9:30PM on ZOOM
This session will be focused mainly on networking. Participants will have opportunities to talk to teachers who have participated in past competitions. Participants will also have the opportunity to talk to the NJB council members.

The National Japan Bowl Team Study Guide is compiled each year by the National Japan Bowl Council in coordination with the Japan-America Society of Washington DC.
